Subject: WMT's Minocqua Tournament Is Close To Filling

The WMT's Minocqua tournament is close to filling. Only a handful of spots remain and we will then be awarding $10,000 to the first place team. Most of the WMT's tournaments have filled this year with double digit waiting list and Minocqua should do the same. The Minocqua tournament will be held on Lake Minocqua and Lake Kawaguesaga on Saturday, July 10. Also, The Minocqua tournament is the last one day qualifier for the WMT in the Western Region. Many of the anglers at the Minocqua tournament will be looking for a high finish to qualify for the WMT's Invitational Championsip where we will be giving away 2 Ranger Boats worth over $30,000 each, from Heckel's Marina, and over $100,000 in cash and prizes.

The July 10th date is historically a great time to be on the Minocqua Chain muskie fishing. The muskie fishing is really starting to heat up on the chain. It is also the weekend after the 4th and it is a slow weekend for tourism in Minocqua and there is a lot of room for fishing on the waters. Even many of the locals are absent because many of them are in Rhinelander at the Hodag Country Fest.

At the tournament we will have a special guest, Mr. Leroy Butler of the Green Bay Packers will be present to talk to the anglers and to congratulate and award the checks and trophies to the winning teams. Also, he will be there to raise money for charity.

For more information about the WMT log on to the web site or call (715)369-1394 or email the WMT at [email protected] .

I hope to see you there, it should be a great tournament.

Thanks,

Tom McInnis

P.S. The WMT's Pelican Lake tournament on August 22 has less than 5 spots open and the Boom Lake tournament in Rhinelander on August 21 has less than 10 spots remaining. Get in soon to reserve your place!
