Location: Holly, MI | I want to change the impeller on my 100 hp Evinrude. It is an 89 100XP V4 (oil injected). When I tried to lower the lower unit it would only drop an inch or so. I thought the shift rod would be splined like the driveshaft but apparently it needs to be disconnected. Anyone know how to disconnect it? I would guess it will just be a set screw but I don't know where. thanks!! |
