| I just got a 7'6" Fig Rig medium action 1-3 oz. rod the other day, sort of by accident, sort of not (long story). Anyway, do any of you folks own this rod? If so, what do you usually throw on it? I'm thinking small bucktails, maybe some topwater, a Tiger Tube, and small twitchbaits. Is my thinking correct?
What other Fig Rigs do you own and what do you throw with them? I had, and will have in the next week or so, a 7'6" MH 2-6 oz. that I will throw big minnowbaits, jerks, big Pacemakers, other topwater, and Bulldawgs with. How about you?

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | I have the exact same rod- 2nd season now. I love it!!! Works well with all lures up to the rated weight. Haven't tried it with anything heavier though. It's my go to rod for 'tails and twitch baits.

| I have that rod and like it a lot. It's the Gregg Thomas model. It fishes bigger than it's rated for. I threw cranks and 2 oz spinnerbaits along with bucks on the Chip last weekend and really liked it. | |

| Is that the 7'6" Medium Fig Rig you two are referring to? Or the 7'6" MH? I am assuming it's the medium, but just want to make sure. Great, you guys were real confidence builders. I had mixed feelings about the rod, but don't anymore. Thanks! | |
