Anyone have details from R&H tourney. MHM board says only 7 fish but not much other info.

Yeah, I fished the tournament and the fishing was terrible. 107 boats and only 8 boats caught fish. 11 fish were caught. The weed beds havent developed yet so not many baitfish. Muskies were suspended in thirty feet of water. Had a follow and that was it. Bass were hitting though. Biggest fish was 43 inches. Im already signed up for the august tournament.

My partner and I also participated in the R&H tourney. BRUTAL!!! My fears had come true when we went out on Friday to pre-fish and check out some spots to generate our milk run. First spot, there was a 40+ incher laying in 2' of water just sunning her self. Seeing as how I was up on the opener just 5 days before, I had guessed that things would be tough, and they were. No weeds (or any where in Vilas actually) and cool water temps have stalled things considerably up north. I still had a great time with my partner, I just wish the fish would have been more cooperative.

I was kind of curious about the follow boat Schweik/Hilman had. Three guys with binos watched them ALL day from 100 feet back never wet a line. That would bug me I guess but they still caught two fish so I guess they didn't seem to mind.

I was up in Minocqua today to see the good folks at Rollie and Helen's. MuskieFIRST will cover all R&H events from now on, with live reports and up to date pictures, plus a Live Leader Board. R&H will also be supplying us with the necessary data to add them to the WMR.
