Ranger, where in the Iron Mountain area can I get suckers this time of year? I think I'm headed out on the Brule on Sunday.

Thanks for the reply. I called the shop in Florence and they don't have any. My buddy is picking some up in Coleman on the way up. I did stop at the baitshop in Aurora and they have some suckers that are maybe 6" at the most. I'll suffer without for a while, I guess.
Are you in the IM area, Bum?

Randy at Northwoods Outfitters in IM will special order. Lance at Lucky's Bait Shop, just east of Iron River usually has them in stock once the season opens. Cool guy to talk with, he knows his muskies.

We went up on the Brule and up into the Paint Pond Had a couple snake northern and one dink follow.
We had one sucker just get shredded, but couldn't get a hookup.

Paint Pond hates me. For all the time I spent there, a couple mid 30"s and I made friends with a family of river otters.
