| STRUTZEL AND IMHOFF WIN WMT'S PEWAUKEE LAKE TOURNAMENT
Sunday, May 9th started out foggy as the WMT's contestants boats lined up for the ease-out and the beginning of the contest. The full field of tournament boats traveled at a safe, no-wake speed in the visually impaired foggy weather, with each angler knowing what was at stake: first place, $10,000 in cash and a guaranteed invitation to the WMT's prestiguous Invitational Championship.
The tournament paid down 5 places:
1st: Chad Strutzel, Stoughton and Steve Imhoff, Madison
2nd: Dan Dassow, Medford and Scott Lewandowski, Athens
3rd: Ken Mack and Steve Laack, both of Tomahawk
4th: Craig Simuncak, Oak Creek and Jeff Slusarski, Oshkosh
5th: Brad Sall, Winneconne and Paul Warner, Janesville

DANIELSON AND MIESBAUER WIN WMT'S LAKE OKAUCHEE
Cool winds and threatening skies greeted Lake Okauchee's WMT anglers on Saturday, May 8. The tournament competitors anticipation level was heightened by the tour's first event of the season and by the fact that this year was the first time the WMT hosted a qualifying event on Lake Okauchee.
The tournament paid down 5 places:
1st: Jeff Danielson, Elgin, IL and Bob Miesbauer, Butternut
2nd: Chuck Eschner, New Berlin and Dave DeArmey, Grays Lake, IL
3rd: Bill Ollman and Rory Tuff, both of Oconomowoc
4th: Brad Singsime, Waukesha and Dan Schuelle, Greenfield
5th: Tom Perdzock, Pewaukee and Jeff Giese, Oconomowoc
