As many of you fish the PMTT also post on this board, I thought I would throw any idea out there.

Shelbyville is a nice lake, however not much to do and not even a Poderosa to get sick at like Cave Run.

I was thinking that after the presentation on Saturday Night that we could get a poker game going, I could

bring my new chips (Christmas present) and a new deck of cards.

So my thoughts:

7:30 pm at Eagle Creek Resort room TBD

$1-$3 bets

3 max raises

Check/Raise allowed

No Wild Cards

Game ends at 11pm or close to

Any thoughts, interested? Shoot me an email on this site or call me 773-477-7371 (office)

Thanks for your time

Rob

Rob, we are booked at Eagle Creek Resort also.

How about we all bring our tackle boxes and rods to use as money.

That would make it interesting for the next day out.

See you at the meeting or on the water. We will be on the water Thursday morning.

Mike,

I like your idea, however trying to keep the stakes lower than $15 baits and $200 rods and reels.

Maybe those stakes are better suited for the final in NY. We too will be there Thursday AM. See ya next week!

Great Idea!!

Instead how about $10.00 buys you $200.00 in chips... just like the TV shows... winner takes all.

Does the board want a hold em tournament versus a sit down get to know you poker game?

The problem with the Hold em Touneys, is when your chips are gone, you will most likely leave and go to the
bar. I was thinking of 6-8 guys sitting around shooting the #*#* throwing some cards.

Shady if we have a tourney we should have a larger buy in and pay 3 places

Let me know, not sure if musky fisherman are gamblers as well, lets have a shout out to all players!

Have a great weekend to all!

For the Minnetonka PMTT I can bring a craps table and my trusty dice.

Craps is more fun then poker, but I do get a kick out of Hold 'Em. Come on river card!

A friend in Minneapolis used to hire an outfit that would set up Blackjack, Craps and Roulette. His Vegas Night parties were great, although probably not all that "legal".

I should find out how to set one of those things up at the Shady Outing.

Later,

There really isn't a bar to go to in Shelbyville, only the hotel bar. So if you go all in right away and lose, tough bounce.

So what do you guys want? Do you want to play? Musky Midget not sure what a bounce is? Does it make
sense to try to get a tourney going that might last 90 minutes or do you want to play a game.

How does Holdem, 7-Stud, 5-Draw, 5 Stud, Omaha, Criss/Cross etc. All real games, no wild cards?

Come on guys bring out some cash!

Look forward to seeing all of you later this week, cannot wait!

Call me with questions.

Doesn't matter to me. Dealer's choice or Hold Em is fine.

If you increase the blinds every 10-15 minutes, you can get a game of Hold Em done within 2 hours.

For those of you that are interested, lets meet at the hotel bar at 7:30pm on Saturday. We will make
something happen then. Good luck to all. BRing your rain gear looks like you will need it for prefishing.

Sooooo, this is what you guys do at the end of a day's fishing! I'd heard it was sharpening hooks, checking lake maps, and early beddy-bye. Another myth shot, where is my innocence? m

After reconciling my money clip after buying beer all night and playing poker, I did manage to squeak out a small profit.

Not sure how much I won, but I was up a little.

I loved it how everyone else at the table thought you really didn't know how to play.

I know you better than that. They don't call you Shady for nothing ...
