Where do you suggest to launch besides the State Park? Thanks, Al

I usually launch at the Thirsty Turtle. You can end the day on a good note that way.
That is on Channel lake I believe. (I get those 2 mixed up)
There are a couple of others on 173 on the channel between Marie and Channel Lake. Take your pick.

I have always launched at Bob's marina on 173 on catherine lake. It's at the end of a small channel, plenty deep for any boat. It's a 10 spot, just like all the other places to launch. Always plenty of good parking and the wind won't be a factor. I know the big goomba and mehabeeb launch there as well.

The best launch that is almost always out of the wind is Bob's Marina on RT173 on the south shore of Catherine.

The state park is the only free launch. There are launches on every other lake so I say take your pick based on where you will be fishing that day. North or south just about all the places will run you $10.
