| Just wondering, obviously this is a muskie fishing website, but what else do you fish for?

| I really get a kick out of tournament bass fishing from time to time. Not that I am real good at it or have the money/time to be a threat even at the local level. It sure if fun to watch the big boys sweat the jon boat and 90 hp. |

| Smallmouth. I'll spend a few mins trying walleyes on occasion to fill up a frying pan but if I can't get on muskie water, I'm gonna fish smallmouths. They are usually easier to target, put up a great fight on balanced gear and readily take artificials. There are good populations in the rivers of my back yard. |

| Largemouth. When I was a kid we used frogs.. and there was nothing more exciting then a largemouth in thick cover whamping it. Still think frogs are the best bait for largemouths... |

Location: Greenfield, WI | Saltwater fish when ever I can, which has been twice a year lately. There are more of them, when compared to muskies. Size for size they fight harder. Best of all, most of them are delicious!
During the period from mid June to early September, when the muskie fishing gets a little tough for casting in SE Wisconsin, I go out onto Lake Michigan for Rainbow & Lake Trout, Coho & Chinook Salmon. The fish start out at about 20" and can get above 30". These also fit on the grill quite well!

Location: Holly, MI | I'm glad somone mentioned Carp. They can be fun. Put the rod in the hands of your 5 yr old and watch him grunt with a 10-15 pounder. The river in town gets them in the spring and we enjoy it.
Largemouth and smallmouth.
Steelhead in spring
Salmon in late summer/fall
Pike when I can't get to the ski lakes |

| I used like to throw on a wet towel and a wig, then sashe' down the beach "fishing" for compliments; if the peep got too close, I'd knock 'em down and run off w/ their wallet. Now that I have a job, I enjoy fishing for miniature barse, rockfish and what not... |

Location: Rockford Il 61108 | I enjoy fishing our local river. (kishwaukee) I catch many smallmouth and decent sized catfish. The catfish is just for the fight. I would never eat a bottom feeder. This is obviosly a lazy mans way. 12 pack and some radio tunes |

Location: oswego, il | I pretty much just fish for musky. I used to bass fish during the week but it's hard to find that time anymore. 5 years ago, I got 257 bass fishing about 2 nights a week. |

Most time spent looking for Sunnies and Crappies with the family.
Then it would be the Muskie fishing
Always fun to wade the local river and fish for Smallmouth , Pike and Walleye.
Jumbo Perch are a blast.
Carp are great if you are looking to get a bend in your rod.
Fishing is Fishing, it's all good!

Location: Wauwatosa, WI | steelhead in the spring and salmon in the fall, both on the Miwaukee River. A 20lb salmon running downstream is almost as fun as hitting a 30lb musky.

Location: Maryland | Lots of others to target. I try to get one week a year fishing marlin and sailfish in Mexico and I fish a week casting jigs to Red Drum in North Carolina's Outer Banks. Great fun to sight cast to big fish. Also fish the Cheasapeake bay from May to November or Rockfish, trout, bluefish etc. As said above, althought something about Muskies is addicting, salt water fish are great fighters. |
