Location: north central wisconsin | I just got my three rods back from Gregg Stangl that he rebuilt for me. The 7'6" St. Croix(10 years old) and the 7' fig 8 special lami look better than they even did new. The alconite guides, reduction in clear coat, shaved handles and custom wraps are a thing of beauty. Those were three rods that I haven't fished with in a few years due to the guides being completely wore out. It is like Santa brought me new ones. Thanks Gregg for a job well done! My buddy oredered a custom built rod from Gregg last night, and I cannot wait to see it either. |
