Woke up Wedensday morning and my left elbow was swollen up the size of a large grapefruit. headed down to urgent care and they said A huge calcium deposit in the shape of a spur had broken off and broken some blood vessels.Orthopedic guy said He has never seen deposits like that "Do you do any Highly repetitive unnatural actions with your arms"? Scared the Hell out of me for sure because im not about to start a new career.Hope to hell it gets better soon. My kids wont even look at this thing;scares em!!

Howie, I hope your elbow heels quick. If not, can you tell me what lakes you fish and where so they won't be too lonely?

Thanks guys. The elbow should be allright. I guess it points out an occupational hazard I didnt know about. I love throwing heavy baits and after a lot of years of that something had to give I guess.Todd I will put you in the will for my map notebook, etc

Don't do anything silly like willing it to Todd, I am sure we can come up with some mutually attractive cash exchange before you die, so it adds to your estate. Uhm................is that going to be any time soon?????;-)

And by the way, I do not think the calcium deposits are neccessarily from just casting. There may be a genetic component or it may be the motion you are using. If it is the motion you may be able to change it. Good luck with it regardless.

It's true, calcium deposits are caused by too much secret information. Best way to prevent it is to tell everybody your secrets. Hope this helps.

Bummer Howie, take it easy for a bit and heal up for the opener.
