Check out the outflow vs elevation graph for the cave and you can see why things might have gone bad at the Cave.

Tracking back you might also figure why I had one of my best falls ever and winter was pretty much a waste this year.

Oh well might be the moon, the weather, the zodiac sign, Mikie's telepathic Cave Run fish repellent, Hulbert's under arm deodorant, Tony's smile, or any other number of factors running off the fish. I just know it wasn't me, I was stuck working.

Team I was most disappointed by, Kevin Selders where are your fish?
Look for him to get on the board tomorrow.

Hmm....water running out, I would fish near the drains!!!

I have noticed that when the impoundments I am fishing start to fall, especially if the drop is significant, the fishing get's tough. I wonder if that syndrome is SOP for most impoundments where quick drawdons are possible.

Maybe the muskies will wake up a bit today.
