Thanks dude! Glad to see yerself back in the saddle; may start a counseling service and name it "Battle the Boss", if'n it doesn't infringe on Greg Thomas's "Battle the Beast" trademark...haven't been fishing as much as I used to; little dude will be 8 next month, so I spend as much time w/ him as possible. I'd suggest everyone reproduce at the half century mark as an inducement to continue working 'til their 80 something! Perhaps someday I'll be able to make the trip northward; hard to leave that brine though. Work as usual sucketh, but each year I find meself getting to know the "tormentor" better, and may even collapse sobbing when he retires in something like 2 yrs, 8mos. and however many days! At any rate, someday we'll all hook up and sling some baits; I still gotta try that kick butt spaghetti of yours...

How come when sponge posts, or other people post to sponge and it has nothing to do with muskies, it doesnt get deleted?

Curious,
Sponge is a serious angler both in the salty backwaters, tides, and freshwater lakes and rivers, and is neary Zen in his ability to direct a single phrase, and single syllable, in fact, juat a LETTER directly to the heart of a MUSKIE subject. If indeed you do not clearly see the MUSKIE content in each and every Sponger post, then you must study, must explore, must truly try to GRASP the significance, oh Grasshopper. Or not. Your choice.

I miss one day here, and suddenly the target of an investigation! No probs; I was keenly aware of controversy when I first took the oath of Stupidity, and accept full and total responsibility for the actions of not only meself, but also am responsible for the decline in supplemental dental coverage that plagues our nation today...that being said, and in all fairness, Curious does have a point--more often than not, me posts are often hard to decipher, and I can fully understand his bewilderment; I too wonder what the hay I was saying! If a post I engage in contains meaningless fragments of sentencing, then I have no probs w/ the post being moved, ditched, or hidden by whatever means the peeps here deem necessary. From here, hence, and forever more, I will strive to engage in more meaningful musky related topics, and be less secretive in my coded messaging. I promise to not use the excuse that I was used as a channel marker as a child, fed ravenously on paint chips at family reunions, drank Prestone brand Kool Aid, and educated meself by moonlight and Mad magazines...I am not an animal...I am...a human bean!

Although I am not completely versed in Sponge I will do my best to translate for those who have not been exposed.

"Used as a channel marker as a child"---fish near the river channel
"fed ravenously on paint chips"---color will make a difference
"drank Prestone brand Kool Aid" -- no clue what that translates to
"educated meself by moonlight"--- definetly a night bite

A plethera of musky information if you just know where he is leading you!!

Not to take any coded messages from the mouth of sponge, but it needs to be said, "Gooder one Norm."
