Fishing was pretty good this weekend, considering the conditions.
Fished Webster Friday-Sunday.

Water Temps: 51-57 degrees
Visibility: 3 feet
New weed growth can be found on the shallow flats.

Friday the day started off with a shortie on a firetiger Rattlin' Shad. At 1:45 we got a 41.5 and at 3:00 we got a 37. The 41.5 came on a sucker and the 37 came on a Superman Bulldawg. All in 4-6 feet of water. The shortie came from Goveners, the 41.5 came just outside Goveners and the 37 came on the shallow flat as you leave the channel.

Saturday the fishing was a little slow, but my southern experiences help my brother land his biggest Indiana musky, a nice fat 43 incher on a Chrome 1 oz. Rat-L-Trap. This fish was caught on the shallow flats on Yellow Banks.

Sunday I went out by myself for a few hours and landed a 36.5 on a Moonshine Rattlin Shad. This fish was also on the flat just after the channel.

The fish were all on shallow flats in 4-6 feet of water. The fish are starting to spawn, as the 43 was dripping with eggs.

The DNR were also netting this weekend, and captured several nice muskies in 3 feet of water.

I will be posting pictures as soon as I get my film developed!
