Greetings all:

What recommendations do you have for line and leader, type and test, for smaller tackle in the early part of the season. I plan to use smaller bucktails, bass sized spinner baits, and lipless rattling crank baits. Seems like I'd be in the market for similar set-ups to what those of you are using on the Cave right now with the rattle baits.

Thanks for any help you can provide....

A flippin stick with 50-65# Power Pro and a small diameter braided titanium leader is all ya need. I use mine all season long because I throw Mepps inlines a lot and they aren't very big generally speaking. It's also a nice rig for smaller crank baits like the Storm Lightnig Shad. Still serves me well as a bass stick too.

I like a 65lb superline on a low profile baitcaster. 50 will do as well. For a leader, I make them out of 60lb flourocarbon and use the smaller snap and ball bearing swivel.
