| The first leg of the 2004 PMTT is going to be held at Kentucky's Cave Run Lake on April 17th & 18th!
MuskyFIRST.com will have updates on the leaderboard at the end of Saturday and final standings on Sunday!
Cave Run has had an incredible start to it's season with multiple 50" class fish being released in the past two weeks and anglers reporting multiple fish days.... Will the local pro's Gregg Thomas, Tony Grant, or Crash Mullins and son Justin take the first prize? Or will the hordes of northern anglers from across the midwest show the good old boys up on their own water? Don't count out the eastern teams that will be in attendance at this event and have done very well in the past!
Who will end up on top?
About Cave Run...
Located in Northeastern Kentucky, this lake (at normal summer pool) is 8,270 acres and can reach up to 14,870 acres at maximum flood control pool. Cave Run was made by the construction of a 2,700 foot dam across the Licking River, it has a large area of standing timber that was left prior to the impoundment. This has created hundreds of prime habitat areas for muskies. Depths range from 10' to 60'. To fish this great body of water will be a thrill of a life time.
In the last several years weed growth has increased yielding even more exciting fishing opportunities. This tournament historically produces lots of muskies and is a great way to jump start the season as it never is closed in Kentucky!
