Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland | I have used the lipless crankbaits on occasion and can feel the lure on my line. However, I don't feel it vibrating at all. I use 80# braid with a St. Croix graphite med-hvy Musky rod. Wondering if I am using the wrong equipment? Perhaps - too heavy? Should I feel the vibrations from these lures? Thanks - Tom

| Tom,
I threw them on a flippin stick,50lb Stealth, and a reel with a 6:2.1 gear ratio down at the Cave and could feel the vibration so well, I stuttered for 3 days after.A rod with a bit softer tip should help. Steve |

I used a All Star 8ft MH with 50#power pro and I too was feeling the vibes.
I also used a St Croix 7ft MH with 15# P-Line copolamar line and that worked ok.
Not as much vibe as the Power Pro gave me.
Next week it will be all Power Pro at the Cave for me and my partner.
I am not going to mess with mono in a Pro tournament. |

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland | Sounds like I'm using too stiff of a rod. Thanks. Tom |
