| For those of us in MN we may get a little later close of the soft water season. I'm wondering what is the latest you've been on softwater. Northern ILL guys how bout you? Sconny guys I assume it's Nov 30th.

| For me it was this year. I fished Muskies on Nov.12.(Lake Vermilion). I hope to break that record next week. All I have to do is find a partner who hasn't stored his boat yet.

| Dec.17th 2 years ago...and have started as early as Feb 28th this year (that was an adventure to Kinkaid.....the scene of the gas station attack). Hoping to break both records this year, it's all up to the REAL weatherman, GOD.

| Last year I fished the week before christmas got a fat 34" . the Jan. before i fished jan 2 ,2000 . Both times on Lake Shelbyville. |

The forcast for next Saturday has it at 50 degrees here...unbelievable!! We may be on open water in the middle of December! |

| I've fished to December 15 for Tigers (no naturals in Maryland). We have an open season all year here. State record was caught in early February a couple of years ago. Although we can still fish for Tigers now, I basically have the lake to myself except for a couple of die-hard Bass guys. |
