Location: Pulaski, WI | My buddy busted his rear tranducer. It's a Lowrance. It's broken in between the mounting bracket and the sensor. The sensor is fine excpet that it's hanging from the boat. Any way to glue/weld it back together? Otherwise $40 for a new one.
Thanks,
John |

I plan on trying a plastic welding outfit in Neenah. I don't think epoxy would work to hold it together at 60 MPH.
I will post how it turns out.
btw....Lowrance list price is $59....none on e-bay yet.....X-85....black connector |

Location: Hayward WI | Hey Joe,
I've got a transducer, Eagle/Lowrance that may work for you. It came from an Eagle unit so it should work with Lowrance. It has the older grey connectors, but I bought the adaptor cord so it would fit the newer black connectors. Let me know if your interested, mabye we can trade for some of your weight sets

Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | Ok took it to a guy in Neenah, Plastic Menders right next to Bradkeys Eat on Main. He used an Acrylic welding glue, kind of like PVC cement, but clear. It melted the plastic, and held up to a short WOT run on the wolf river. Torqueing on it and it seems just as strong as the rest of it. $10.....way better then $60 for a new one and having to snake the new cable. |
