| park closed due to shotgun deer hunting. This weekend will be great though, I'll have thursday-sunday to fish. |

| Hit the "zoo" which is the closest musky lake to my house. It lived up to it's nickname. Only casted at three boats running through where I was casting. True to form it's the only water I lose my baits on. Lost a manta and almost a depth raider. Snagged up all three suckers and lost them throughout the day but not before a few pickups and the bejesus chased out of them by musky. Must have had at least 20 unseen follows(seen them on the finder) and the suckers going crazy, even jumping out of the water dragging a 2 oz. weight. Seen two caught but none for us.[:knockout:] |

| I saw alot of boats on the road last weekend, so there were Muskie anglers out fishing in the 65 degree weather we had. One of my friends had an incredible day Saturday, with 5 fish, one was 48, and another was 51 1/2, from WISCONSIN water!!! |

| Was out on Pewaukee Saturday and managed a 43 incher in the boat on a sucker with a circle hook. (text book hooking, right in the corner of the mouth) and lost a 36 incher at the boat. The two fish hit at the same time and after we had the 43 in the net the 36 incher started to move, so I started reeling and had it on until boat side where it thru the hook. Was really hoping for a double. Had two more suckers hit and dropped and seen 4 follows.
On Sunday went to Lambeau field and watched the Packer game.
One good day out of two days ain't bad! |

| Dragged suckers all day Sat. with no pickups, but caught two leagals and seven follows in the last 1.5 hours of the day. Should have moved shallow earlier. Fish were in 5 feet of water on the inside of the green weeds. Water temp. was up from the previous week, 45 degrees. Can't wait til next weekend, the last of the season.[:knockout:] [:((] [:(] |
