MuskieFirst's very own Steve Worrel will speak to the Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies Inc., on Tuesday, April 27. The meeting will begin at 7:30 and is held at Legacy Fine Dining, 14955 W. National Ave. New Berlin.

His presentation will be "Underwater Bait Sounds". Steve will share with all in attendance the recorded sounds a variety of popular lures make while traveling through water.

I recently heard his recordings and was amazed at how much blade choices affected the volume & tone emitted into the water.

With a true in the flesh "Muskie God" as the main speaker, everyone should consider getting there a few hours early, or parking at a freeway "park-and-ride" to be shuttled into the meeting by bus!
Muskies Inc. will be providing a layout of the room to provide a better understanding of the peak auditory monitoring stations throughout the meeting hall in order to maximize the benefits
of Steve's program. A helpful hint for those new to the presentation and/or meeting hall- don't sit behind a fat guy anywhere near the bar! The sound dispersion of the presentation may be compromised or overwhelmed at that location!

Is there any interest in starting a MI chapter in the Fox Valley? I would love to join MI, but I think the nearest chapter is over 100 mi away. I think a chapter in the GB, Appleton area would generate a lot of interest.

Song and Dance? Hoo boy, now that would be something. Maybe an occasion for Mr. Cady and the Musky Nut Dancers to appear, though. You may have something there....

It's a can't miss. I hope he wears underpants this time, the one handed cartwheels in a kilt playing the accordian had me in therapy for months.

I wonder if Mr. Worrall will provide any audio from CanCun? What would a umbrella drink sound like as it was spilled in an effort to set the hook on a billfish? What would the Captain have to say about that?

Rumor has it that Steve is bringing both the Tampa Bay and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders with him! If that is the case, this presentation has just gotten exponentially more interesting!!!
We better get there well before the scheduled start of 7:30 PM!

How will any other speaker ever top this?

Steve will not be speaking tonight due to illness, but come, among other things, to hear the latest on the Pewaukee Lake weed poisoning project.

I know it's too soon to ask, but I'm devastated by the loss of this opportunity for a truly magic muskie moment. Will the presentation be rescheduled for a hopefully near-future meeting? For those of us "out of the loop," somebody please post an update when you find out.

I am really sorry I was not able to make the meeting, I was totally out of the game. I am still only firing on about 3.5 cylinders out of 8, getting better a bit each day, I hope. Whatever this was, I would prefer not to experience it again.
