| Why thank you my son; one of me fondest memories is of you and Norm(al) puttering up the channel and lighting up the lake w/ those "Green Banana Lanterns" last year! A fun time indeedie...
Been teaching Yogurt and Medication lessons to the neighbors on weekday mornings, and Family Patty Cake Techniques to 4-H students at night. At high noon I allow meself a Velveeta sandwich, a Coke Cola, then settle down on the floor for a Pay Day IV siesta for a couple hrs. The assorted Sponges are doing well and look forward to the day when they can put me out on the street. Hung 2 bird houses last week, and may hang more in the near future. I'm not looking for an easy way out, just a WAY OUT...
Wish I'da got the dates straight for the Cave Outing; miss the Group Hug and Photo session, which reminds me I gotta go to Wally wolrd and pick up some pics I took back in Oct., plus some other stuff. Take care dudes/dudettes! |

Someday we will get him back with some regularity!
With Sponge gone, we are lacking that unique (dare I say, "warped") perspective that kept us all on our toes!
We should set a trap for the Spongemeister. We could leave a truckload of Payday candy bars unattended, and capture him when his nose brings him into the bait. He could be handcuffed to a keyboard to post for all of our enlightenment! He wouldn't know what was going on until the candy bars ran out! |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sponger, Glad to hear all is well. The Patty Cake lessons must be grueling, especially in light of the affection shown in your area for 'Smores and Paydays. One could end up with another appendage that wiggles independantly. |

| Trying to wean meself off the Pay Day/Coke Cola habit somewhat Stever; been leaning toward a hi-carb eye popping regime of Boost, Geritol tabs, pork rinds and lemon grass. Before I forget, thanks fer the battery advice; bro got the Optima and loves it.
Saw the show pics; SLAMR looks pretty daggone good considering what all you peeps put him through! Board looks good too, as do the boards of Mike H. and Cisco K. Time permitting, I'll try to get on board some more; miss the whacky stuff ya'll are famous for. May/June I'll be traveling the east coast w/ a carnival selling incense and peppermint to the hippie folk, and July will hit the road w/ Janet Jackson peddling sewing kits and sequined tank tops. Hopefully somewheres in between I'll find time to wet a line... |

I didn't go to the Cave because it would not be the same without your presents.
Good to see you are checking in on us from time to time.
Kind of left us hanging.
No one to replace your Spongeness !!! |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Sponge, great to see you posting again. I see that oxygen depravation is still an issue for ya. Don't ever change. If me memory serves correctly, you are preparing for that great downhill slide like me next week & Mauser in a couple weeks. Old age is not for sissies, fight it all the way, bro'. m |

Gotta get you up to a MN, WI or Canada outting one of these years... |

| No way Extreme! Temporarily orphaned, NEVER abandoned. Feels good to get outta the rain for sure. Mikie; already hit the 50 mark awhile back; waiting for you and C.J. to catch up...Dawg- may purchase a View Finder in order to jerk me bait away from the pesky juvenile barse...Stever VanL--not only are grits still a staple, no doubt they are the reason I'm able to function in the hi-tech world of today; I've also found meself a constant companion in Hot Tamales. One thing I did manage to give up was the Aunt Jemima Syrup; they took the cute chubby lady head w/ the kerchief off the bottle and added a thinner more "politically correct" version; more than I could handle. Next thing you know, they'll take the Quaker Oats dude, add "corn rows" and a baseball cap....lol Worrall, ALL appendages flow in fluid motion when confined in an offwhite suit that buttons in the back! Shep--will do! That sausage went REAL fast once I hit the office; it's not just fer breakfast anymore...Mark--would love to get up that way someday for sure! I've been taking a home remedy shock treatment; Spongette has placed a truck battery and a set of aluminum ping pong paddles next to me chair, and I'm required to take a "treatment" every 2 hours; kinda like riding a mechanical bull, only the screams drown out the cheers! I'm unable to travel more than a few steps at a time, but when she says I'm "well", I hope to at least get out on the deck and sit quietly for a spell. Maybe next year we can all hit the Cave and ride Sally ride... |

Location: Greenfield, WI | YES!!!! This is the Great "Sponge" that I remember!
I am very concerned for the hardware which this site utilizes! With all this time that Sponge has had to "hoard" all his snipets of wisdom, will the website start melting down or short circuiting from the overload and volume of new information? |
