Location: Racine, Wi | Hey all you IL boys. Who would I be able to get some suckers from this time of year around the Fox Chain? Triangle.........????
If I have to, I can always try the local creek and see if they are running, but they may be a little big. Would rather take some of the effort out of getting bait.
Big chubs for twiching would be good as well.

Location: Illinois | Hey Tuffy, I called Triangle in advance to order but he seemed to have plenty. Most of the suckers were in the 8 inch range. He said that he would have more this weekend.Grass Lake Road and Route 83. Hope to see you out there. Good Luck. hj

I'm SOOOOO READY for the Chain next Thursday. Got my baits chosen (I'm not bringing the big box), map is coming from R&H, rods and reels prepared. Glad you mentioned twitching sucker minnows/chubs! I'll make sure I add my M/MH spinning rig to the arsenal.
What type of quick set have you been using down there with early season suckers? |

Location: Racine, Wi | I am trying yet another rig this spring. It is another flouro rig. We'll see how it works. Then I have the Presque Isle rig that I currently use. Now that I hook the suckers right, I don't miss as many fish. lol (yeah right) I've been told I have GregM disease.
Any word from CB? |

Location: Woodstock, IL | Are there any navigational hazards that I should be wary of on Catherine, Channel, Grass or Marie? I'll probably launch at the State Park which I believe is on Grass. I'm a noob to this water. |

Location: Algonquin, ILL | DPRATT: if your going to fish Channel and Catherine you would be better off launching at Bob's or the Thirsty Turtle that way you won't have to travel as far and not have to worry about stuff floating in the river, Just a thought

Location: Racine, Wi | Catherine, Marie, and Channel are pretty much safe to navigate as far as I know. Grass is pretty shallow all over, but I haven't been on it to give you any info on it. |

Location: Illinois-Indiana | Like it was said, pay the money and launch at one of the private launches, they charge $10. |
