Subject: prop needed for 1966 Evinrude 18 hp





Location: Athens, Ohio
Howdy, while on the Cave Run outing I met a fine young man with his first fishing boat. Coming back in to the launch ramp (through some rough friggin water lemme tell ya), he lost his prop. He had just boated his first muskie solo and witnessed the 51. Anyway, if anyone knows where he can get a 9 x 10 prop for this motor, please let me know and I'll try to help him out. He makes some awesome bass spinners, maybe now he'll start tying for muskies. thanks, m

Henry's marine on 31st and Canal in Chicago or Phil's prop shop in Chicago Heights I think. If you can't find the ph#'s let me know, I don't have them handy right now but could look them up for you..

Checking the Michigan Wheel catalog it looks like he needs PN 012011, which is a 9x10 3 blade. These folks will be able to order the prop for him and they are not that far away from where he lives.
