All launches open except cj smiths. Launched at thirsty turtle. Water temp around 40. Motor started right up and ran nice. Slammer drop Belly Glider runs like a champ. Threw rattle traps, gliders and never raised a fish. Still, great to be out with suckers. Trolled a spell and then the wind kicked up to about 40mph. Cold water and three footers slapping me in the face. I figured it was time to go in and fight another day. The season is here. hj

Was out Sunday 3/28. Temps were 43-50, with 50 being in the channels. Water Clarity was only a couple of feet probably due to the rain and all the run off. Didn't move any fish.

But get this I saw two guys on Jet Skis ---- Way to early for that.

It was nice just to be back on the water.
