| besides the normal gas stabil and fogging, what are some others tips for winterizing a Merc 4 stroke 60hp. The warden has advised the boat needs to be out of the garage soon so our cars can be put in there in the winter. Any tips would be appreciated.[:)] |

| Dave Dave Dave...the "warden" exists for the sole purpose to enforce the laws....you are the "lawmaker", so get her a scraper + some de-icer! LOL....I use a motor cover + wrapped the engine in a light blanket using some duct tape + bungee cords.....put a tarp over the boat/cover....good luck + take charge![;)] [:0] [:sun:] |

| Don't forget to drain the lower unit grease and repack your trailer ball bearings.
Also, you shouldn't put it away without a fresh coat of Muskie slime. You can pick me up on your way to Silver!

Oh well, the boat is now put behind bars until hard water becomes soft water again. The warden has spoken. Spongey.... the warden makes (as she sees fit)/enforces/and then adds to the laws after the fact!!!!! So i have no recourse but to put the boat away. By the way, i saw the cartoon finally. [:bigsmile:]

| Sounds good Dave. I don't want to hit Lake X. I would rather hit Lake Y. Or better known as Pierce. It is a good lake early in the year before they stock the shad. Let me know what you think. |

| There was s skin of ice on some of the lake shores this morning. Won't be long and the real hard water will be here!!
No warden here, I got released from all Warden activities smoe time ago....Now have temporary Wardens...Same badge, though!! |
