For you guys that own Crestliner fish hawk's, I am wondering what shaft length of trollong motor I need for a 1650. I am considering buying a minnkota 65 powerdrive(24v). It is going on the bow.

Thanks,

G

I have a Lund 1700 Angler SS, and have the 54" shaft. There has only been a few times on big water, where I wish I would have gotten the 60" shaft. Overall, I'm glad I got the 54".

I had a 60" shaft on my Minnkota AP when I had my 1650 FH. It was obnoxiously big..go with the 54", that is plenty for that boat.

I have the 55# AP 54" (12 v) on my Lund 1650 Predator II. It seems to work just great, If you have the room for 2 batteries, by all accounts the 24 v. system would be better. I just couldn't sacrifice the room.

Get the 60 inch shaft, that way you will NEVER be disappointed. It is only about 10 dollars difference. So you might as well get the longest just in case.

I have a 1775 Lund Pro-V with the 54 inch shaft, and I am getting the 60 inch shaft put on next month.

I have a 1750 fishhawk with a 55pd 54" shaft. It has been long enough so far,but if you fish big water a 60" woudnt hurt.
