Instead of leaving early Saturday, we should of slept for a couple of more hours. Musky Fever, I did get out of bed early to hit the road 3:45 am., guess what it didn't matter backup was already going, got off 2 1/2 miles before Grant exit and eventually found highway 30. By the way this was the for the unofficial outing on Webster saturday. It was cold!!!!! Our total tally was a 6 inch shad. Slamr it sounded like you got the only musky of the day. How did you do Sunday if you fished. There was alot of musky nuts out there besides me, there was probally another 30 boats slinging plugs. Once again thanks to every one who broke ice, heck I was even breaking ice with the BassCat and kringing every foot of the way. Al

Alan, I'd be suprised if anyone was crazy enough to fish today, I posted my comments this morning, walked outside and looked down the channel only to see whitecaps... on Kuhn.. Not good. We tarped the boat and watched the race instead. Yesterday we broke ice to launch at Kuhn, didn't see a thing except on the depthfinder. The backup was bad? We left friday afternoon and it actually seemed no worse then the usual backup we run into on the bormon... I'd say catch 30 from either 57(lot longer) or 394. Both will be faster then the expressway with the construction later this spring.

MuskyAl, that's a nice BassCat you have...the SS Ice Breaker/Harasser (the name of my 17' aluminum boat) was up the challenge of ice breaking saturday mornin! For the most part, i didnt' break out my trailer lights or anything when i back in...adding the 3rd LakeWood Monster Box the front of the boat was enought weight to keep the boat off the top of the ice!
this is why you dont' buy a musky used musky boat from an Indiana jonser.
I said it all week long, when we get to the ramp, it will be frozen. Oh well, i got skunked!! AGAIN!!!
Good to see you on water, better luck next time.
