Location: ITALY | Hi guys, I'd like to share my PB with you from Italy. An old lady measuring 135cm/53.14". The fulfillment of a dream. My previous record was 130cm/51" and I didn't think I could beat it. Don't stop dreaming because they might just come true.

Location: Selkirk, Manitoba | Congrats. Very impressive pike.
Are they considered northern or southern pike where you caught that one? |

| Great fish! How closely related to North American pike are those pike? |

| Very nice. Whats the philosophy over there for trophy fish. Is it catch & release or a catch & kill type thing. I know it differs all over the world. Thats a big Pike, it would be fun to tangle with one some day.
How was it caught? Trolling, casting or using live bait? |

Location: ITALY | Thanks for the compliments, this pike is a Northern Pike. In Italy, most pike anglers believe in C&R, including me... especially with trophy specimens... for this reason this catch was released. Only 3 photos were taken to avoid further stressing it as much as possible. The pike was caught with a 10" softbait (shad), casting

Location: ITALY | Thank you all guys
It's wonderful to be able to share these catches with anglers who understand the emotional value of these catches. The effort, the hours spent on the water, but also the luck of being in the right place at the right time. |
