Ouch. That just hurts to look at. Here I've been complaining because it is only 40 degrees today in northern IL.

Geez, I was hoping it would start to melt soon. Would like to make one more trip north before the ice goes. If you add 5-7 inches that'll make like 40 plus inches on the ice.

Was going to go to Northern Marinette this weekend. Mom called the neighbor and they said 36" on the ground in the open areas. Get into the woods and it's 40+. The snowbanks in the driveways are closer to 48".

I decided to pass when I figured that even if I got into the drive, I'd never be able to walk on the lake.

Well, I figure it's gotta go away sometime.

Looks like you'll have 2 maybe 3 weeks of open water this year.We're Freezing down here in the "Mountain State". Only got up to 47 degrees today. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,man that looks cold Steve, you can keep it!!
