Ayden Froeschle (pronounced freshly) won the Junior Division of the 2021 Metro Muskie Tournament. It was a sign of things to come. Ayden had the most points and won the 2022 Frank Schneider Tournament at the age of 17. Then in 2023, the now 18-year-old Ayden won again, this time with a stunning seven fish. Ayden caught the only 50-inch fish in the 2025 Metro Muskie Tournament. Is he unbeatable?
Ayden is forthright about his preparation for, and his fishing during the Tournaments. Ayden is one of the youngest full-time muskie guides, guiding the Leech Lake area (out of Agency Bay Resort – the resort used as the headquarters for the Frank Schneider Tournament), western Minnesota and Mille Lacs in the Fall.
We will be meeting at Everett McClay VFW – 311 W 84th Street, Bloomington. Come around 5 pm if you want to enjoy appetizers or a meal with fellow anglers in the dining room beforehand.
