Location: Rochester, New York | So I have an annual trip to the 1000 islands in the second week September and while the main targets are smallmouth bass walleye and pike I was looking to see if I could get any advice on possibly fishing a larger bait for them while trolling for pike and walleye or get a 1 in a trillion wild tiger. We are pretty much at Round Island on the main land at the motel.
(I know its a month early before the muskie bite tends to get good and a lot of them enter the river from the lake to feed but there has to be some in the river)
