| have a house boat booked for august 21-28. planning on anchoring close to chamberlain narrows area. anybody got any advice for a good mooring spot?never fished lacseul but my buddy ryan(eagle weagle) and i are looking forward to it! | |

Location: Alexandria, MN | Haven't been there in years, and never did the houseboat thing as we stayed at Lac Seul Outposts. There's a long, tapered point in the north side of Merritt Bay with a sandy beach on the east side. There were usually houseboats parked there. | |

| Let us know how the trip goes, would love to hear. Considering the same thing for 2026, however we want to go well past Chamberlain Narrows to the northeast. Thanks! | |
