Location: Moses Lake, WA | The last Koi I did in orange/black/white used transparent acrylic for the orange, but it wasn't all that transparent. This one I did in red/white/black using transparent red lacquer which provides a lot more transparency of the underlying scales. 12" basswood, one rattle chamber, glass eyes.
