Going to take my first trip to Stonewall in WV in a couple weeks. Anyone got anything to share to get me ahead of the curve? Appreciate anything you all would be willing to share.

I can't speak for the structure and specific locations on the lake but there are some nice numbers on that lake with 30 muskies registered in 2024. Go on the Muskies Inc website Lunge Log and see what baits were hot in which months. Always a good place to start for any muskie related trip whether to a familiar lake or a new one.

fished Stonewall a couple years ago in April. Fish where shallow on the bank. Laydowns could hold foish as well.
Water is very dirty less than a foot of visablilty. High action slow moving baits reef hawgs or dying dogs seemed the best.

3042694588 US COE daily conditions report. I've had some nice sized bass come out of there while muskie fishing is all I can say. m
