I decided to make a lure using an underlying gold foil, but found out that my pictures translated into something that looked more like a muddy white when the foil is covered by four layers of epoxy. 12" basswood, one rattle chamber, squarebill, glass eyes, and very strange depiction by my digital camera. My eyes see it as gold but the camera doesn't.

Hmmm, on my monitor it looks gold. Not the shiny gold of the foil but very much like the gold in my 50 yr old wedding ring.
