Messages stuck in Outbox?

Subject: Messages stuck in Outbox?

Location: Wisconsin		I've been a registered user on here for a while, just never posted much. I've tried to send a few Direct Messages to users on here, and it appears they are stuck in the "Outbox" and don't appear to have been sent. Is there something I need to do?

Nothing you need to do - they stay there until they are read...

Roger that.

So it isn't the same as when Microsoft Outlook is malfunctioning and all your messages sit int he "Outbox" and don't actually send.

Location: Delavan, WI		Messages stay in the outbox until the user logs in an actually clicks on the message to open it, and read it. If said user hasn't logged in to check messages it may stay in there indefinitely until he does

Location: Delavan, WI		Another thing to check before you send pm's is if you click on the user name it shows their last log in. I see you resurrected some threads that are near 10 years old and sent out pm to the OP some of them have not logged in here for 5-6 years so most likely given they are not active users, there is a very good chance you won't be getting a response back anytime soon
