Location: SW Ohio | Anyone running one of the new Merc EFI 9.9’s? I’m looking at the ELH CT model to replace the short shaft 8hp Honda I currently have. The Honda runs fine after some repairs but even with an oversized anticavitation plate I made, it sucks air above 3.5-3.8 mph.
I know EFI outboards have been around for a while but the new battery-less EFI systems are not something I’ve dealt with. Anything I need to be wary of?
