Anyone setting season goals? Any particular landmarks you want to set?

Mine are:

A) The first musky!
B) 40+ inch musky
C) Topwater musky
D) A musky each from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. ; D

I realise I have the possibility of getting three goals in one fish, but that's just a risk I'll have to take. ; D.. What're your goals?

My goals are to at least do as well as I have my last two seasons. It would be hard to ask for more sucess on the water. Other goals, I have some new water I want to fish this year. That's about it.

Even though you can never fish enough, I was fortunate to fish as much as I did last year. I'd like to do the same this year but unfortunately this summer looks to be a busy one with work and family obligations.

1) Spend quality time on the water with family and friends.
2) Catch a few fish.
3) Personal best (gotta beat 44.5)

Other than that if I'm upright and breathing at the end of the summer this year, I'll be happy.

2) Fine tune my technique. Jig fish, topwater, bucktail fishing.
3) Beat my 44" from last summer.
4) Double my #'s from last season.

1. Take one of my friends who only occassionaly muskie fish and turn them into the same kind of pathetic addict that I am. They won't know whether to hate me or love me.

2. Meet and fish with some MF guys or gals. (Still looking for a Match Fishing partner). Just in case I don't succeed at goal #1. I just need someone who doesn't want to quit when we've barely been fishing 13 hours, or get scared of a little lightning, hail or killer mosquitos. C'mon, someone, anyone...

3. Oh yeah, catch tons of huge fish and all that stuff, too.

..Have my brother land his second (yep, he got hooked last summer on one fish) and many more for him

(an afterthought..how about post 500 times on this addictive site)
