| A little history.Mr. Slamr and I have been on the phone and computer a lot this winter.We go round and round on all sorts of topics, with the common thread being...Muskies!This is the 1st weekend we'll both be on the water(at the same time) since last summer.I want to challenge my buddy to an early season "match".Iowa vs.Indiana,Jonesi vs.Slamr, Ranger vs.Patriot you get the idea.Whadda ya say?I will summon all forces, Good and Evil to whip you!I think I've got my kharma/mojo working on some of the new baits from the winter shows.It could be ugly.Slamr? You may have a bigger more expensive boat....you may have more lures than Rollie and Helens.....may have fished longer than me.....but you forget, this is ME we're talking about. I fear you less than I feared Matt Gawlik two years ago when we started all this....as I remember I beat him 44 MI points to ZERO. If you want to place a wager on this, I'm all about taking your money or your lures.
Let's do this just like matchfishing....same day, different lakes, MI points to determine a winner. Call it an intro to matchfishing for new members and people who are going to be involved. Fish proven by a pic posted here while holding a household item assigned by Tomyv or Worrall.
If any of the rest of your crew want to make this a weekend mini-tourney, bring it.
It's looking like me and Hulbert will be on Webster this weekend.....call it Saturday? Bring it, we're not scared.....two of the muskie fishing worlds elite (us) versus a circus freak pair of the largest man in muskies and the shortest.
