I figure it'll be the usual MuskieFIRST gathering at Lakeview come Saturday around noon? I'll either be with the newest muskie pro out there, Mike Hulbert, or you'll see me bobbing in the very white Patriot! Bring on the dumb fatties!

Was down there saturday, the Barbee ramp area still had some ice all blown into shore right in that area. I heard Webster was open and would assume same for Tippy.

I think so. I need to get the boat out now that its got that carb upgrade, see what it can do... Plus I have to go down and finish playing with my mess from the shed blowing over... I got stuff all over inside and outside the cottage now... Maybe head down thursday night, I'll let you know.

Yes IN is open--water temps 38-45 depending on the location on Webster; five follows, 1 fish in the boat and one on and lost last Sun (my partner tells me). Just flew in from Belize & Guatemala so didn't get out yet myself. Weather is quite chilly this week here in IN w/ snow--30's to 20's & more snow/rain this weekend possibly. Weather permitting will be up Fri-Sun am. Could put some muskies first guys up at my cottage (ten mins from webster, 7 beds and a few couches avail). Would like to meet some of the m-1st members and maybe hook up Fri pm/Sat (may not be off work in time to fish Fri but should be up at the lake Fri pm & fishing Sat). Would like to hook up w/ someone interested in doing the m-1st Wabigoon trip in July. Contact me at [email protected] if interested. Thanks. JK

Water temp is around 48, Bass and Crappie in the channels, no word of Musky, at least the two boats at the ramp I quizzed. At about 5:00pm local time only 3 boats were on the B-Chain... Two were after Bass, never saw the third. A word of warning for those wanting to go to Tippy this weekend, A Bass Tourney with possibly 30 rigs is supposedly gonna launch at the Ball Room, the guy that told me did not say what time. I think I will be on the B-Chain all weekend myself.

Going to be 49 for a high tomorrow and the winds will be 15-25 out of the northwest. Going to hit our trolling lake tomoorow, boat control won't be fun.
