Hey guys! Rookie troller here. I only have a few fish successfully trolling. Never really did it much until last year.

On certain baits that pull extremely hard and being that you need to remove one weight from a TX-44 super planer…. do you find better results in leaving the front or back weight in the planer board and why? Thank you so much!

Planning on doing a lot of trolling in upcoming outings

Bend the arm up slightly if the board pulls too hard or dives. This will allow it to skate more with the nose up. I never remove weights
