| I would have to go with the Harrasser. East casting and cranking. |

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | One new bucktail that has just hit the market recently is the Esox Destroyer and the Destroyer Magnum made by Snowcrest Lures.
These bucktails have the best blade of any bucktail I have thrown. The willow leave blade is about twice as thick as other brands and puts out a major thump. The blade alone, is the selling point of these lures. Excellent night time lure as well. These willow leafs also start right up and you don't have to "kick start" them to get them going, or they don't foul up during the retrieve.
I throw a large amouth of willow leaf bucktails, from Mepps and Harrasser's to Snowcrest. Each have their own time and place, but I would highly recommend the Snowcrest Esox Destroyer and Destroyer Magnum because of the much higher than average quality and the awesome thump made by the thick blades.

Hope this helps,

| Mike,
Those Snowcrest bucks look pretty nice. Do you know if they will be having a booth at Minnesota Musky Expo? Thanks.

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Mepps Giant Killer. The blade spins every time on the first crank of the reel, and the split ring design gives you endless tail options. Probably one of the only willows you can run a marabou behind. |

Snowcrest won't have a booth at the Minnesota show next weekend but I will bring some to the swap meet that will be for sale.
Otherwise drop me a line at [email protected] and I can get a few of these baits in your hands.

Location: Black Creek, WI | My Harrassers are slowly being replaced with Mepps Giant Killers. I toss a few Bucher Willow Bucks too.... especially when the lakes really getted kicked up by a good stiff wind.

Location: north central wisconsin | I like the Harrassers alot. They fish totally different than willow bucks( slightly smaller more cupped heavier blade and run a bit deeper). they also fish different than the lighter more forward weighted Mepps. I like them all in different situations. The blade on the willow buck really flares out, and gives alot of resistance on the retrieve compared to the harrasser. I have a friend who swears by the willow buck for shallow burnin, but does not like the harrasser at all. One could have all three types(there are probably more) in their box. The one thing I don't like about the Harrasser is the fixed front hook, but I can't say that I've lost any fish because of it(yet). |
