| I posted this under a different topic, but I thought I'd put it up again so hunters would read it.
Don't forget the ice this weekend. With temps in the 50's and 60's, it doesn't take meat very long to rot. So plan ahead and buy ice when you register your deer, then stuff the body cavity full of it and then wrap it in a tarp.
Where I hunt, I'll register my deer (if I'm lucky) then I'll skin it, quarter it and bring it home in coolers.
Remember to think ahead and be prepared for the warm weather or your venison won't be fit for the table.
Have a safe and productive hunt.

Keeping them cool is the right thing to do. I plan on shooting, registering and eating the evidence on day one.. Well at least the Tender loins. [:bigsmile:] | |

| Hope to experience that! Fortunately w/ temps. in the upper 70s I can drive my truck to the kill zone + have that sucker in AC w/in 1/2 hr. By the way I got something for you Beav....I just have to remember to send it! [:0] [:sun:] | |
