Hey a Personal Best is a Personal Best! Congratulations! 47 is no joke. And I'm glad Dave finally found somebody to weed wack, that s*** was getting thick. I still don't understand why he let it get to that point, but hey it's not my property.

LOL! I'm a trustee at my church and Dave is the captain of the Trustee's! I was sick and out of commission for over week and couldn't get the weed wacking done.

That boat is too nice for a 47" to be a PB. I was hoping it was Dave that got the fish. A 20 HP kicker...WOW! Congrats on a sweet fish and a sweet rig! I've never got one over 50" and have caught well over 150 and live in the "Northern Region". My choice of water and timing is hideous. Very nice boat! A 47" replica looks nice on a wall, call Joe Fittante!

Thanks Clark, God is Good! the 20hp kicker was a new addition this spring and i couldn't be happier- especially for trolling for Muskie.. Luckily the boat came with a 9.9 kicker & Garmin TR1 Gold autopilot and i was able to transfer it over to the new 20.
I'm hoping there are larger fish in my future but?

At the time wish I new I was at a good lake to fish for them when I was up there for a week. I was just learning how to fish for them. You did better than me. Congrats. I got at least a good perch dinner.

I fish mostly for pike and tigers, pure breed is Chautauqua 1ce a year and that's a nice fish. after >40 yrs my PB is 44.5" and that felt like a whale. BTW only ever seen 1 50" on Chautauqua in all these years.

A 47" on Chautauqua is very impressive in fact it's impressive anywhere. I've been fishing Chautauqua for > 40 years and only seen 1 50"er to date. KUDOES My PB from that lake is 42" and it fought like a madman (or women). My DDD still has the chuck it bit off-out.
