Subject: Hotel Recommendations with Boat for MSP Area

Location: Des Plaines, IL		I was hoping to solicit some advice from the group. We are going up to Vermilion next week staying at Spring Bay. We've got two kids, 6 and 3, who we thought we'd take to the Mall of America on Friday and split the trip up a bit.

Has anyone stayed at a hotel in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with their boat and had a good experience? I know many in the immediate city have covered parking and those are probably out.

Any thoughts or information anyone can provide would be much appreciated!

Many of the hotels directly adjacent (walking distance) to the mall are open lots and not ramps. I think there might be more concerns with getting double deep or pull through spots and not all single deep. Also security of the parking lot would be something I would worry about.
