| Good afternoon!
I've been fishing in Canada for a number of years - no guides, DIY camp. Was fortunate enough to catch and land the biggest Northern I've been able to tie into at 48" while getting it all on video, and wanted to share it with the folks here!

Location: New Berlin, WI | Wow. Congratulations on a great fish! Really good quality video also. Made me nervous at home watching a few of those runs at the boat even when I knew you would land the fish. Funny that there was one floating weed…..and of course it kept getting on your line.
Also liked how you and your wife kept telling each other to be careful. Excitement can make people do silly things so a good reminder. Well done and congrats again. |

| Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
It is the second year my wife has joined me on a Canada fishing trip, and she’s becoming a seasoned pro on both running the net and fighting/catching fish herself!
We really do try to over communicate in these moments because with filming fishing while still doing everything else (pictures, unhooking, measuring, releasing, etc) can turn into chaos really quick! Especially in a Lund SSV camp boat!
Thanks again for watching! |

Location: Brighton CO. | As a guy who fishes out of rental boats and by myself it can be hard to get a good picture and measurement. Years ago I caught a muskie in a row boat we had three of us and I was the middle guy, after we netted it I jumped out took a picture of me standing on shore put it in the water for a quick measurement and off it went. worked out well. |

| I believe even most hardcore muskie guys would have a big smile on their face taking a picture if they caught that one. Kdawg |

Nice Hat lol.
Really really nice fish
Hahaha! My wife bought herself a “Captain” hat and me a “First Mate” hat. It was the last day and I said, “sure I’ll have that as my hat today.” I even thought at the time that if I catch a giant I’ll have this stupid hat on forever.
Makes for a fun memory though! |

Thank you - there’s just something about Canada pike that has always had me hooked. The peaks are close to musky fishing, but then you still end up with numbers at the same time. |

Great place to live. My biggest northern is 48.5in. In those same waters I've seen fish above 50. The genetics of these fish are unreal. |
