| What is an approximate weight. It’s 51inches. Don’t know the girth.

| Congrats! Looks kinda thin. Spawned out. My estimate would be 32-35 lbs. |

| From what I can see from photos I don’t think that fish makes 30 lbs, I caught a thin 52.5” a few years back, just for kicks we put on a digital scale on the net, lift, subtract net weight..29.25 pounds. So, 27-30 would be my guess… I wouldn’t worry about what it weighed, nice fish! |

Location: Brighton CO. | A really nice fish and photo. GOOD JOB! It can be hard on the fish to get exact length and girth. Again good job! |

Location: PA Angler | Like others said without girth hard to say but it is a very nice fish and with a 51in fish like that I would be very proud of it. Congratulations

Location: Brighton CO. | If you look at all the skin mounts from the 50's, 60's and 70,s around Northern Wisconsin a lot of them are 47"-49" in length and weight in at 27# to 33#. And the old standard was 30#, then with C& R it changed to 50" for that 30# well a lot of 50" are long and thin and are no way close to 30#, but at the same time I know of fish at were killed that 50" 40# every system is different and time of ECT. And for the record I caught a long thin fish in late Oct. and my dad caught a tank of a fish on the first of July. We have to count our blessings. |

Location: Contrarian Island | I'd guess 26-28. generally they weigh a lot less than we think . I've weighed a few and one 54 x 22 was 36-37 lbs on a good scale.. most would think a 54 would be 40 lbs with that girth and it was not.. food for thought...
