I see people say in stained water to use dark lures or to use lighter lures. Which one is it? Does it really matter all that match?
For blades, should I use big ones (8-9) or smaller ones (7 and smaller)?

I fish stained water almost all the time. Mostly solid colors like black or white work great as both offer a lot of contrast in stained water. I like bright stuff too, every season it seems like a different color is hot, but still always get a handful on blk, wht, clown, blk/silver.

I usually stick to dark colors in muddy waters. On clear waters anything. Mostly will play with brighter colors. Also depends on depth. Watch the YouTube vids on where they swim colors down you’ll see red will change to black first then all the others will change.
