For anyone who will be at the Minnesota Muskie Expo, the North Metro chapter is hosting the Mi Spring board meeting at the Mermaid. On Saturday night we are having a big banquet/fundraiser. If you want to come to the banquet you can fill out this form, http://www.northmetromuskies.com/Short_Ad.pdf , and send it in with a check. If you want to show up for the fundraiser/drinking afterwards feel free to show up after dinner is over at 7:00. Did I forget to mention purchase a glass for $10 and we will fill it with beer for the evening. It is a nice 16 oz glass with the MI logo on it. I hope to see alot of people there. I will be working the North Metro booth on Friday for a while.

Everyone is welcome to the banquet. You do not need to be a Muskies Inc. Member to attend. There are tons of great prizes and trips available. Just follow the link on lance's post to get more information. Stop by on your way home from the Muskie Expo. It is very close by.

Correct me if Im wrong but also if you stay at the hotel which is already discounted for the show and buy a banquet ticket,,you get a free weekend pass to the show,,,I live 20 minutes from the show and I still have a room there,,North Metro is gonna loose money on my mug purchase

Hooker,
My money is on Netman or Huey. Those guys will get their money's worth. They may even buy 2 mugs so they don't have to make as many trips. It will be a great time.

I believe that is correct, but last I heard the hotel was full. I know that George had reserved 15, and North Metro had the other 55 set aside for the Board meeting. I hope a few more people decide that they want to go to the banquet, the food was excellent when we sampled it. The beer should be flowing quite well. I will have a few, but I think I am going to drive home. The list of items for Auction, and raffle is quite long as it sits right now. I think it will be a good time for anyone who shows up.

If you are planning on coming to the banquet please get your registration in before next Wednesday. We need to tell the Mermaid how many people they have to prepare food for, so if you haven't sent in your dinner reservations, please get them in ASAP.
